Five grades of cloth,
one standard of comfort.
Every fabric sofa we build starts as a roll of cloth on a shelf. We've graded our entire swatch library by quality and material — five tiers, each with its own range of colourways — so you choose the fabric first, and the price follows.
Five grades, graded by quality and material
Grade is not a size or a finish — it's the fabric itself: the fibre, the weave, the durability, and how it's made. Prices start from £2,000 at Grade 1 and rise through the tiers as the cloth becomes more technical. Hover any swatch below for its name and code.
What's true across every grade
Regardless of which grade you choose, the fabric on your sofa is selected to live in a real home.
Pet-friendly options
Selected fabrics across our grades are woven to resist snagging and shedding, so they hold up to claws and everyday family life. Ask in store which colourways in your chosen grade are pet-friendly.
Water-resistant weaves
A number of swatches are finished to resist spills and everyday moisture, giving you more time to blot up a stain before it sets. These are flagged on the in-store swatch book.
Fire-retardant as standard
Every fabric in the library — across all five grades — is fire-retardant treated (marked FR), meeting UK upholstery safety regulations.
From swatch to sofa: 4–5 weeks
Once you've chosen your grade and colour, your sofa is cut and upholstered to order — nothing is taken from a warehouse shelf.
Choose in store
Feel the cloth, check the colour in natural light, and confirm your grade and swatch with our team.
Order confirmed
Your chosen fabric and frame are logged and committed to production — this is the point of no return.
Cut & upholstered
Your sofa is built by hand to order, using only the exact fabric you selected and agreed to.
Delivered, 4–5 weeks
Your finished sofa arrives in the fabric, grade, and colour you saw and felt in store.
Because every sofa is made specifically for you, we ask you to confirm your fabric in person before we cut a single piece of cloth.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have seen and felt the exact fabric swatch you've chosen, and that it is the grade, material, and colour you want on your sofa. Our team is on hand in store to talk you through every option.
Because making your sofa uses a significant amount of material, time, and skilled labour, orders cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or refunded once production has begun, including on the basis of colour or feel not matching expectation after delivery.
This isn't small print to catch you out — it's why we ask you to see and feel the fabric in person first. It protects you from a result you didn't choose, and it protects us from rework we can't take back.

Colour shifts under light and on screen
The same swatch can look noticeably different under a shop spotlight, daylight through your window, and a phone camera's white balance. What you see on this page is a guide, not a guarantee.
Feel is part of the decision
Grade is about weave and material as much as colour. Running your hand across the actual cloth tells you things a photo never can — softness, weight, texture, give.
It protects both of us
A sofa you've personally seen, felt, and approved removes the guesswork — and the risk of a mismatch — from both sides of the order.
Same swatch, different light
Fabric colour is affected by the light source, the angle, and the device showing it. Here's one swatch shown three ways:
Same hex value — shown under bright daylight, neutral light, and warm evening light. In store, you see the one true colour.
