Courier Service For Smaller Items

McVann Furniture offer a courier service for smaller online purchases of up to 30 kg in weight. The cost of this courier service is €15 and it can be selected at checkout.

The online sales team will contact you shortly after you place your order to (1) confirm availability of the items on the order and (2) to give you an estimated delivery time. Lead times are generally between 2-4 weeks. This service is available to residents within the Republic of Ireland.

Once the order is with the courier, they will contact you to confirm delivery. If you are not home to accept your order the courier will be in touch with options for re delivery

Larger items are delivered by our own delivery team. The cost of this delivery service ranges from €29 to €99 depending on your location. Please see the breakdown of cost by county below:

The home delivery service includes assembly* of the furniture and the removal of any unwanted packaging. *Assembly of bedframes are not included in this assembly service. If you require a bedframe assembled it can be arranged for an additional cost. Please contact for further information.

Click and Collect Service

McVann Furniture offer a FREE click and collect service for smaller items under 30 Kg from our showroom in Ballina, Mayo.

To avail of our click and collect service simply select this option at the checkout*. Our online team will be in contact with you once they receive your order to (1) confirm availability of the items ordered and (2) to give you an estimated time for delivery.

Please wait for the online team to confirmation that your order is in store before travelling to our store. This confirmation will be by way of e-mail communication.

*Note when you select the pick from store option you will be asked to include a shipping address - please make sure the shipping address is as follows - McVann Furniture, Killala Road, Ballina, Co Mayo, F26 YF78. Use your own e-mail address and contact number in space provided.

How does Delivery Work?

McVann Furniture deliver 5 days a week Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm (Excludes Bank Holidays). Please note that specific times cannot be provided for deliveries.

After you place your order you will be contacted by our online team to confirm availability of the product(s) on your order and the estimated arrival of these products into our warehouse. We will contact you again to confirm a scheduled delivery date once your order arrives into our warehouse.

We are reliant on the advice of our suppliers when giving you estimated lead times. Where there is any undue delay in receiving your order our online team will advise you of this.

Once a delivery date has been scheduled you will receive a call from our online team at least 3 to 4 working days in advance to confirm the details.

On the day of your scheduled delivery, a member of our hone delivery team will contact you within a 2 hour window of the expected delivery time.

We make every effort to deliver your order within an estimated period of 30 days, however, delays can occasionally occur due to unforeseen circumstances. If delays do occur, you will be notified by our online team.

McVann Furniture will not be held liable for any delay or failure to deliver the products within the estimated time frames provided.

Please be aware that a delivery cannot be cancelled on the day of delivery as our deliveries are prepared the evening before a scheduled delivery.

You must advise us of any cancellations at least 2 working days prior to the scheduled delivery date.

A cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery will result in a re delivery charge of €50 which must be paid before your re scheduled delivery.

What happens on the Day of delivery?

If you agree to avail of our furniture assembly service and our staff place items inside your premises, please note we do not accept responsibility for any damage whatsoever caused to your premises or possessions within.

On the day of delivery, please ensure our home delivery team can gain access to the room that the furniture is going into.

Please make sure that the area you want the furniture placed is cleared. A re-stocking charge of 50% of the items value will apply where adequate access is not available when goods are delivered and a credit note will then be issued for the outstanding value.

If our home delivery team cannot contact you on the number provided by you of fails to gain access to your delivery address on the day then your delivery will be rescheduled for the next available day. Note a re-delivery charge of €50 will apply which must be paid before your re-scheduled delivery.

You will not be liable for any damage to goods existing at the time of delivery. Therefore, to make sure you are completely satisfied with your furniture the delivery team will ask you to sign for your furniture after it has been installed. Goods must be accepted by and signed for by an adult over the age of 18 years.

We will endeavour to repair or replace the damaged item as soon as possible but we cannot guarantee the same day delivery.

How does the Furniture Assembly & Removal Service Work?

As part of our assembly and removal service, we take away all unwanted packaging belonging to the items for recycling. If you have purchased a new mattress or new sofa for delivery, our delivery team can remove your old mattress or sofa for recycling for an additional charge.

Should you require your old furniture to be removed other than mattresses/sofas please contact us on for more information. Note all removal and disassembly charges must be paid for in advance of delivery


We will store your goods for up to 28 days if requested provided full payment is made at point of sale. All clearance and display items must be collected within 7 working days. On the expiry of these dates please note a weekly storage charge of 5% of the value of your order will apply.
